Quick Start (3 steps)
Follow these steps to connect WooCommerce with Bol.com. No technical knowledge is needed.
Install and activate the plugin
- Install the plugin via Plugins → Add New or upload the .zip file.
- Activate the plugin to open the settings.
Connect your Bol.com account
- Copy your Bol.com API credentials (Client ID and Secret) from your retailer account.
- Paste them into the setup and run the connection test.
Enable synchronisation
- Select what you want to synchronise (orders, returns, stock levels, invoices).
- The default synchronisation interval is 15 minutes, which you can adjust in the plugin settings.
Tip: Start by synchronising a small set of products to make sure everything works as expected.
Requirements & Compatibility

- - PHP 8.1 or higher
- - WP-Cron enabled (for scheduled tasks)
- - Bol.com retailer account with API credentials (Client ID and Secret).
Where to enable HPOS
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Features. Enable High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
Common Tasks
To add products to Bol.com, open the Setup Wizard and select "Product linking."
- Then match products by EAN (barcode). Use the SKU, GTIN, or a custom field that contains the EAN-13 code.
- After matching products, save your settings and run an initial synchronisation with a few products.

To automatically send invoices to Bol.com, enable invoice upload in the Setup Wizard
- When orders are ready, BridgeSync prepares and sends the PDF invoice to Bol.com.
- If any issue occurs, BridgeSync retries automatically and logs errors on the order.
To change how often BridgeSync runs, open the Setup Wizard and go to Synchronisation
- Choose a schedule that works for you: every 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes, hourly, or daily.
Check that everything is working
- Check for new Bol.com orders in WooCommerce (HPOS required).
- Check your stock levels after a synchronisation.
- Check a recent order for the invoice note.
Frequently asked questions
Why am I not seeing orders?
- Make sure HPOS is enabled and the schedule is active.
- Double-check your API details in the setup and run the connection test.
- Check that WP-Cron has run in the last 15 minutes. These steps will help you find and fix any scheduling issues.
Where do I enter my Bol.com API details?
In the Setup Wizard, go to the step marked "API". Paste in your Client ID and Secret from your Bol.com retailer account.
What is an EAN, and where can I find it?
EAN is the barcode number that identifies a product. You can store it in your product\'s SKU, a GTIN field, or a custom field.
Do I need to take any action regarding EO?
EO stands for Economic Operator. BridgeSync checks this during setup and helps you meet Bol.com\'s requirements.
Can I use my own prices?
In the Setup Wizard, you can choose whether to use your store price or a custom price field.
